Thanks for the kind words Phillip. I think the baby mockingbird was having a hard time. The parents kept swooping down on Me when I got too close. He was gone later in the day so I hope he was okay.

Appreciate all your compliments Sjoerd. My greatest challenge is the soil, very heavy clay so lots of amendments are needed. This year I have added more plants to attract & host the butterflies. Butterfly weed, dill, rue, pentas, salvias, zinnias, abelia, lantana and verbena.

Thanks Cheryl, the butterflies are just beginning to show up. I bought the Ruby Slipper locally, it has a very large colorful bloom.

Thanks Netty, I enjoy watching the new babies.
