The 'little blue' type are ornamental and edible. They're ripping hot too.
Not sure about the others...haven't tried them yet.
Here's a type called "Chilly" chili, that's just putting on some fruits recently...
Another variety I enjoy is called "Black Pearl". This plant is just starting to set buds...
